Starting Young for Lifelong Success 

 

We welcome puppies as young as six months old, starting with basic obedience and progressing to complex marking situations and cold blinds. Our balanced approach, combining yard work and field work, land work and water work, ensures a healthy attitude and high-quality learning experience.

 

Comprehensive Weekly Training 

 

Our rigorous five-day training schedule allows ample time on weekends for recovery, fostering a positive training attitude. Ideal candidates are between six months and one year old, properly socialized, and have some obedience training and experience with simple, single marks.

 

Personalized Training for Optimal Results 

 

Upon arrival, each new student is given several days to socialize and adjust to kennel life. During this period, we evaluate their basic obedience and simple marks to develop a customized training program. While all students follow the same core steps, our early evaluation ensures we tailor the beginning work to each dog's unique abilities.

 

Emphasis on Obedience and Controlled Line Manners 

 

Our program prioritizes calm, controlled line manners and robust obedience training. Each day starts with yard work, reinforcing basic obedience and progressing through advanced training drills for handling blind retrieves. Morning yard work is followed by field work, advancing from simple single marks to complex marking concepts, double retrieves, triple marks, and retired guns.

 

Comfortable and Nutritious Environment 

 

When not training, our dogs enjoy comfortable kennels with ample exercise space. We ensure our dogs are in top physical shape, feeding them only Purina Pro Plan dog food to maintain peak health and performance.
